Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban invited President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the World Championships in Athletics, which is being held in Budapest for the first time, the Watan information program of the Turkmen television reported today.
“Every year, August 20 has a special meaning in the life of Hungarians. This is the most important date of the national calendar as we celebrate the Day of our founding king Saint Stephen. However, this year the celebration will be even more unique. Hungary will be in the center of attention of the whole world, as the World Championships in Athletics will be held in Budapest from 19 to 27 August,” reads the message of the Hungarian Prime Minister.
Viktor Orban emphasized that it would be an honor for him to welcome the President of Turkmenistan and his family to the new National Athletics Center, where they will witness the final 100-meter race among men, after which a reception will be held at the Carmelite Monastery, as well as the most spectacular fireworks display in Europe .
Expressing his sincere hope that he would be able to personally welcome the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in Budapest, the Hungarian Prime Minister wished him good health and great success in his state activities.
