The international scientific and practical conference “The problem of the formation of national composer schools in a multicultural space”, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov, will be held on October 30 in Moscow at the Russian State Library, in the Pashkov House.
The organizer of the conference is the organizing committee of the Moscow International Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov.
The main music universities of Russia, Turkmenistan and the CIS countries will take part in the forum. Leading scientists in the field of art history, cultural studies, pedagogy, social and cultural activities will present their research. The conference will be held in a face-to-face format.
The topics of the forum are very diverse and affect various areas of human activity in art, education, and science. Various aspects of the influence of music in different periods of musical history are brought up for discussion. Questions of upbringing of musical culture in general education primary and secondary schools are raised. The problems of the conference include topics that propose a study of the relationship between classical and contemporary music, as well as reflections on the originality of the modern art space.
