1. Ashgabat hosted a high-level meeting in the format “Turkmenistan - Tajikistan – Uzbekistan”, within the framework of which Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed the development of friendly and mutually beneficial relations between their countries. It was noted that the strengthening of political, economic, energy, water-environmental and transport cooperation meets the interests of the peoples of the three countries and contributes to peace and security in Central Asia. As a result of the summit, a Joint Statement of the Heads of State of the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted.

2. On Friday, on the way from the International Airport of the capital, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a stop at the bridge, located in one of the picturesque corners of the white marble capital. According to the news program “Watan” of the Turkmen television, the head of the highest representative body of people's power inspected the barriers installed on the bridge and along the roadsides, focusing on their decoration.

3. Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Batyr Niyazliev met with the new Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia Dauren Abayev. During the meeting, the parties noted the actively and consistently developing relations between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. Outlining the main foreign policy priorities of their countries, the diplomats noted the importance of developing bilateral partnerships within the framework of the UN and other authoritative international organizations.

4. The production association “Balkangallaonumleri” in the Gyzylarbat etrap of the Balkan velayat of Turkmenistan fulfilled the plan for the preparation of wheat flour by 143% in the first six months of 2023. Agrarians of the Balkan velayat were the first in Turkmenistan to submit a plan for this year's wheat harvest. The enterprise produces 50 thousand tons of flour per year and grinds 200 tons of grain per day.

5. Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan Annasahet Kakayev attended as an observer at the joint meeting of the Council of Heads of State and Public Television and Radio Organizations of the CIS countries and the Administrative Council of the Interstate Information Pool of the Commonwealth, which was held on August 4 in Minsk.

Perhat Bagtiyarov (up to 61 kg) won three silver medals in the snatch (112 kg), clean and jerk (144 kg) and biathlon (256 kg) in the youth competition and one bronze medal in the junior parallel event. Gulalek Kakamyradova (up to 64 kg) won two silver medals in the snatch (79 kg) and biathlon (175 kg) and one bronze medal in the clean and jerk (96 kg) in the girls' competition. Resul Rejepov (up to 89 kg) became the vice-champion of Asia among juniors, having won two silver medals in the snatch (148 kg) and biathlon (318 kg) and one bronze medal in the clean and jerk (170 kg). Ogulshat Amanova (up to 45 kg) won three bronze medals in the snatch (65 kg), clean and jerk (80 kg) and biathlon (145 kg) in the girls' tournament.
