1. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Ashgabat today to participate in the trilateral summit of the heads of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. At the International Airport of the Turkmen capital, decorated with the State flags of the friendly countries participating in the trilateral meeting, high-level guests were given a warm and cordial welcome.

2. The exhibition “Turkmenistan through the eyes of a Polish artist” opened at the Museum of Fine Arts in Ashgabat. Polish artist Joanna Galecka has been in Turkmenistan for about two months. She shared her impressions of staying in the sunny land through her work. The exhibition will run until August 5.

3. Within the framework of the meeting of the heads of the CIS television and radio companies, which was held in Minsk, the delegation of Turkmenistan held a number of bilateral negotiations with their Belarusian counterparts. Representatives of Turkmenistan noted the high level of Turkmen-Belarusian relations, which are successfully developing under the leadership of the leaders of the two states. They also invited Belarusian journalists to take part in a media forum to be held in Turkmenistan in connection with the celebration of the country's independence.

4. The merchant marine fleet of Turkmenistan has launched excursion routes along the coast of the Caspian Sea from Turkmenbashy. Passengers will be able to visit the national tourist zone “Avaza” and the island of Gyzylsuv. Excursions are conducted on a high-speed vessel “Charlak”, which can accommodate 350 people. Amulet-alaja, an example of grace and beauty, and the tool with which they were made, was presented to the State Museum of the State Cultural Center by the wife of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, mother of the President of Turkmenistan Ogulgerek Berdimuhamedova. 6. The Central Bank of Russia introduced the digital ruble logo. It consists of two elements: a ruble sign and a circle, which, on the one hand, repeats the shape of a traditional coin, and on the other, echoes the logo of the Bank of Russia. The digital ruble is a new form of national currency that will be implemented on the basis of blockchain technology.

7. Researchers from the University of Texas in the US say that by Friday, especially in the afternoon, workers become the least efficient. The findings were based on the use of computers by employees of a Texas energy company between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2018. The speed of typing, the intensity of the movement of the “mouse” and the number of typos were analyzed. Based on the results of the analysis, it turned out that in the first four working days of the week, the activity of workers increased, and on Friday it fell sharply. The speed of typing and manipulation of the “mouse” decreased, but the number of errors and typos in the texts increased.

8. Today in Moscow, the International Boxing Center will host the prestigious PRAVDA OLD SCHOOL BOXING tournament, which brings together the best fighters from different countries. This evening of boxing, Turkmen boxer Yunus Kurbanov will fight with Russian boxer Abdulmuslim Khuchbarov. The live broadcast of the match will be available on the “Match! 9. The national team of Turkmenistan won the first medal at the World Summer Universiade 2023, held in Chengdu. Wushu player Ayguzel Gurbangeldyeva won the bronze medal in the weight category up to 52 kg. Ayguzel Gurbangeldyeva is a fifth-year student at the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.

10. Young basketball players of Turkmenistan became participants of the FIBA international project “Her world, its rules” for the development of women's basketball. A sports festival in the format of a master class was held in the city of Dashoguz. The event, organized by the Basketball Federation of Turkmenistan, was attended by more than 60 girls from all over the Dashoguz velayat, as well as the teams of Ashgabat, Mary and Lebap. A master class for them was held by the coaches of the youth sports school. The mentors told how to properly warm up before the matches, introduced them to the technical basics of basketball. The program also included sports competitions and fun games. At the end of the program, young athletes received memorable gifts.
