St. Petersburg Zenit approached Bayer Leverkusen with a proposal for the return transfer of striker Serdar Azmun, football insider Fabrizio Romano reported on social networks.
Details of the possible return of the 28-year-old striker to the St. Petersburg club have not been disclosed. We only know that we are talking about the summer transfer window. Transfermarkt values Azmoun at 12 mln euros.
An Iranian football player of Turkmen origin played for Zenit from 2019 to 2022. The striker has 62 goals and 17 assists in 104 matches for the Blues and Whites.
In the 2019/2020 season, Azmun won the title of RPL top scorer, and in the 2020/2021 season he was recognized as the best player by the RFU.
Azmoun scored four goals and provided one assist in 23 Bundesliga games last season.
