The national futsal team of Turkmenistan prevailed over its rivals from Kyrgyzstan in the fourth round of CAFA Futsal Cup-2023. The match, which was held in Dushanbe, ended with the score 2:0.
Mulkaman Annakuliyev and Maksat Soltanov distinguished themselves for the Turkmen team, and the goalkeeper Meretgeldy Gurbanov was recognized as the best player of the meeting.
In another match, Iran defeated Uzbekistan 5-0. The hosts of the tournament - Tajikistan tied with Afghanistan - 2:2.
Let us remind that the Central Asian Futsal Tournament has been held in the capital of Tajikistan since July 23. In the first round, the Turkmen team sensationally defeated Iran with a score of 2:1, lost to Tajikistan (4:2) in the second round, and lost to Uzbekistan (3:1) in the third round.
In the final round, which will be held on Monday, July 30, the national team of Turkmenistan will fight with Afghanistan, Uzbekistan will meet with Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan will play with Iran.
