In autumn 2023, Turkmenistan will host a tour of two prestigious Russian theaters - the State Academic Maly Theater of Russia named after Yevgeny Vahtangov and the Russian Academic Youth Theater named after Alexander Goncharov. This was announced by Yulia Zaytseva, head of the Russian House in Ashgabat, in an interview with the official channel of the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs.
According to Zaytseva, the theater tour will become a bright event in the cultural life of Turkmenistan and confirm the friendly and partnership relations between the two countries. She also added that within the framework of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia, it is planned to hold an educational exhibition, which will present opportunities for studying Turkmen students in Russian universities.
