Saudi football club Al-Hilal has sent an official offer to the French side Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of striker Kylian Mbappe for a record amount of 300 million euros, journalist Fabrizio Romano said on his Twitter page.
Mbappe's contract with PSG runs until the end of the 2023/24 season, but the player had previously refused to renew it until 2025. The media also reported on the possible transfer of Mbappe to Real Madrid, but the French do not want the player to leave in the summer of 2024 as a free agent. The club is taking steps to sell the French striker or extend his contract. The Parisians are sure that Mbappe has already agreed on a contract with Real Madrid.
To date, the most expensive transfer in the history of football is the transfer of Neymar from Barcelona to PSG for 222 million euros.
Mbappe joined PSG in 2017 and became a five-time French champion and three-time French Cup winner. As part of the French national team, he became the world champion in 2018 and vice-champion in 2022.
