Also, the purpose of the assessment may be property disputes related to inheritance or division of property.


What does the vehicle appraisal process include?


The vehicle assessment procedure is carried out in accordance with international standards. In order for Hekem appraisers to start the appraisal procedures, it is enough to leave a request by phone and agree on the place and time for the inspection of the appraisal object.


During the inspection, the following are recorded: the vehicle equipment, the presence or absence of external damage to the body, the condition of the tires, the odometer readings (mileage), the correspondence of VIN codes, engine numbers with those indicated in the technical passport. The inspection is recorded by photographs and an act.


After agreeing on all the nuances and providing the necessary documents by the customer, a contract is drawn up and the vehicle is evaluated.


Documents required for the assessment of vehicles

- technical passport of the car;
- passport of the owner for an individual, or a trusted representative in the presence of a notarized power of attorney;

How is a transport assessment report prepared?


The evaluation report is a formal document of 20 or more pages. In accordance with part 7 of article 21 of the Law of Turkmenistan “On appraisal activities”, the report must be signed by the appraiser who carried out the appraisal, numbered on the page, stitched and sealed and signed by the head of the appraiser. If the appraisal was carried out by several appraisers for different objects of appraisal that are part of the appraised object, the report is signed by each appraiser indicating the objects for which he carried out this procedure.


What documents are attached to the vehicle appraisal report


Copies of documents used by the appraiser in the course of the assessment are attached to the transport appraisal report. Without fail, the report is accompanied by documents provided by the customer for vehicles and its owner, an inspection report and photographs of the appraisal object, as well as documents from the appraisal company - registration documents, license, attestation certificates of appraisers, insurance policies.


For how long is the transport assessment valid?


The period of validity of the specified total cost of the object is determined by the appraiser independently, based on the objectives of the assessment, market analysis and other factors. In most cases, this period is from 3 to 6 months.


How to pay for the evaluation procedure


The cost of services agreed with the customer is indicated in the Agreement for the provision of valuation services on the terms of 100% prepayment. Payment can be made in cash at the cash desk of the enterprise, by bank card through a payment terminal in the office, or by bank transfer based on the invoice.


What to do if there is an error or typographical error in the evaluation report


The probability of misprints or errors in the documents of IE Hekem is practically excluded, or extremely small. In the event that the customer finds any inaccuracies, grammatical errors or typographical errors, IE Hekem guarantees that corrections will be made.
