1. On June 30, the city of “Arkadag” will host the first International Investment Forum called “Arkadag – “smart” city”, organized by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The forum is designed to bring together as many stakeholders as possible to demonstrate the investment potential of the first city of national importance in Turkmenistan. An exhibition of products manufactured by Turkmen entrepreneurs will also be organized on the sidelines of the international investment forum.

2. Today Turkmenistan celebrates the Day of workers of culture and art, as well as the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi. On this occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated compatriots, workers of culture and art. “Significant events in the life of our sovereign Motherland inspire workers of culture and art to creative work, great achievements and the creation of new works. Their contribution to the promotion of historical transformations in the country and increasing its international prestige in the era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state is significant”, - the President of Turkmenistan said in a message.

3. The scientific heritage of Abu Ali ibn Sina was the subject of a scientific and practical conference at the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev. Abu Ali ibn Sina is one of the most influential scientists of the medieval world, widely known in Europe under the name of Avicenna. He created more than 450 works in 29 fields of science. Within the framework of the scientific-practical conference “Medical heritage of Abu Ali ibn Sina - the flagship of our national values” research works of students and young teachers of the university are presented.

4. The Day of Turkmen Business will be held in Dusseldorf from 26 June to 29. A Turkmen delegation headed by the chairman of the country's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dovletgeldy Rejepov went to Germany to participate in the forum to discuss issues of petrochemistry, construction and the textile industry. During the event, German business circles will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the economy of Turkmenistan, its export potential, foreign trade and investment policy, as well as the tasks of introducing innovative technologies into production.

5. On June 29, during the opening ceremony of the city of Arkadag, guests will enjoy a rich cultural and entertainment program. The festive parade will take place in the morning, and during the day there will be performances of song and dance groups. In the evening, a spectacular spectacle awaits all participants of the opening ceremony - a drone show. In honor of the new city, large-scale fireworks will be given and a festive concert will be held.

6. The pilgrimage of Muslims to Mecca in 2023 could be the largest in history. About 2 million people have already arrived in Saudi Arabia and another 500 thousand are expected to arrive. For the first time in the past three years, the Hajj is being held without sanitary restrictions.

7. The German company Statista ranked the most common languages in the world. In the first place, as expected, was English - it is spoken by about one and a half billion people, it is official in 40 states and the most popular foreign language to learn. In second place is Chinese, and third place is taken by Hindi. The next “three” of the most common languages included Spanish, French and Arabic.

8. Turkmen volleyball players completed their performance at the CAVA-2023 Nations Cup among men's teams with a 3:2 victory over Iran. 7 teams competed for the medals of the tournament. According to the results of the rounds, the team of Iran became the winner of the tournament, the team of Kyrgyzstan took the second place. Volleyball players from Mongolia took bronze with 11 points.

9. Luka Modric has extended his contract with “Real Madrid” until the summer of 2024. The Croatian joined “Real Madrid” in 2012 and won 23 titles in 11 seasons at the club. Last season, Modric played in 51 matches in all competitions for the “Creamy”, scoring 6 goals and providing 6 assists.
