Real Madrid's official website has confirmed that midfielder Luka Modric has extended his contract with the club. The new agreement runs until the summer of 2024.
The Croatian footballer joined Real Madrid in 2012 and played 488 games in 11 seasons at the club. He won 23 titles, including 3 La Liga wins, 2 Spanish Cups, 4 Spanish Super Cups, 5 Champions Leagues, 5 Club World Cups and 4 European Super Cups.
Modric made 51 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring 6 goals and providing 6 assists. Real Madrid finished second in La Liga 2022/23.
According to the portal Transfermarkt, the value of the Croatian player is 10 million euros.
