The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Shadurdy Meredov, during his stay in the Batken region, met with the First Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative (Governor) of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Batken region Marufan Tulaev.
During the meeting, issues of developing interregional cooperation were discussed, in particular, between the Ahal velayat of Turkmenistan and the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, which are sister regions.
The Ambassador also acquainted M. Tulaev with the city of Arkadag, the opening ceremony of which will take place on June 29, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
