On June 18, the participant of the International Dance and Folklore Festival “Awaza – 2023” - the Romanian ensemble “Transylvania” will perform at the Ashgabat film and concert center “Watan”.
The concert is organized by the Embassy of Romania in Turkmenistan with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in honor of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
“Transylvania” will introduce the audience to the traditions and original culture of the Romanians. The repertoire of the group, which got its name from the famous historical region surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains and legends, includes more than 20 choreographic programs that have been shown in many countries of the world and have been awarded numerous national and international prizes.
The concert starts at 18:00. Free admission.
