Turkmen students successfully performed in Moscow in the second full-time stage of the Universiade “Lomonosov” in linguistics, regional studies and cultural studies, organized by Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov.
According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the national team included 9 students led by Maysa Atayeva, a teacher at the Russian language department of the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.
Two members of the Turkmen team won second places:
- Diana Dallakyan, 1st year student of the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature of the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages in the Russian language competition.
- Ogulmaral Atayeva, third-year student of the medical faculty of the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after M. Garryev in the English language competition.
The girls were awarded diplomas of the second degree.
Other members of the Turkmen team also performed well, and their knowledge was marked with high scores: Aynur Jumashova, Jennet Ovezova (D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages), Enejan Atayeva (International University for the Humanities and Development), Hojamyrat Orazov, Yunus Bayramdurdyev, Jumamyrat Myradov (Engineering and Technological University of Turkmenistan named after Oguzhan) and Yaran Hudayberdyev (Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov).
The high level of training and knowledge of participants from Turkmenistan was emphasized by the organizers of the Universiade.
