Apple has registered a new xrOS trademark along with a logo, reports Rambler with reference to information from the Wccftech portal.
There is no exact data on the products of the xrOS brand yet, but it is assumed that this will most likely be associated with “mixed reality” (“xr” most likely stands for “extended reality”).
Apple has long been developing a headset to be able to combine virtual and augmented reality on the same device. Initially, the brand was supposed to be called realityOS, but later it was decided to change the name.
