1. President of the International Football Federation Gianni Infantino paid a working visit to Turkmenistan. During the one-day visit, the head of FIFA held meetings with the country's leadership and the national football federation. In addition, Infantino visited the International Ahal-Teke equestrian complex, where he watched the performance of the Turkmen horsemen of the famous “Galkynysh” group. The head of FIFA also announced plans to create an educational and methodological center of the International Football Federation in Turkmenistan.
2. Acceptance of applications from citizens of Turkmenistan for admission to the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Russian Foreign Ministry is open. 3. “KAMAZ” showed an electric bus of its own production at the exhibition within the ITTC in the capital of Turkmenistan. At the beginning of 2023, the General Director of “KAMAZ” PJSC Sergey Kogogin announced that the company had supplied two electric buses and an ultra-fast charging station for testing in the climate of Turkmenistan. The representative of the auto giant at the exhibition in Ashgabat noted that testing of equipment is still ongoing.
4. Kazakhstan is modernizing checkpoints on the border with Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in the Mangistau region. It is planned to furnish and equip the “Temir-Baba” checkpoints on the border with Turkmenistan and “Tazhen” on the border with Uzbekistan. Modernization will increase the throughput of checkpoints, and, accordingly, the turnover, introduce new communication and data transmission technologies.
5. “Turkmenistan” Airlines can open passenger flights to the countries of East Asia, the Middle East and Europe. This was stated by the chairman of the Agency “Turkmenhowayollary” during his speech at the international transport and transit forum in Ashgabat. In the future, Seoul, Tokyo, Milan, Jeddah, Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi may be available for direct flights from Ashgabat without transfers.

6. The private Uzbek airline Qanot Sharq has launched a program of charter tourist flights on the route Tashkent - Tel Aviv - Samarkand (Uzbekistan). The air carrier plans to operate flights in this direction twice a week - on Mondays and Wednesdays. Qanot Sharq is the first private airline in Uzbekistan, founded in 1998. The airline specializes in cargo and charter passenger transportation. The carrier's fleet currently consists of four Airbus aircraft.
7. The countries of the Persian Gulf are considering the possibility of creating a single visa area, similar to the Schengen area. Representatives from Bahrain, the UAE and Saudi Arabia discussed such an initiative at the Dubai International Tourism Fair. “The availability of travel in the Gulf countries will positively affect the development of the tourism industry, and the traveler will not have to face restrictions when crossing borders”, - said Fahd Hamidaddin, director of the Saudi Arabian Tourism Authority.

10. Former striker of the national football team of Turkmenistan Vladimir Bayramov played for the legends of “Rubin” at a football tournament in Kazan dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the club. Vladimir Bayramov is a well-known striker with 83 matches and 15 goals for “Rubin”. Bayramov was born in Ashgabat, where he graduated from secondary school № 39. Bayramov played 35 matches for the national team of Turkmenistan, scored 16 goals. Having completed his professional career as a player in 2013, Bayramov eventually began to coach the Kazan youth school of the Vakhitovsky district.
