1. Popular Turkmen singer Nazir Habibov published on YouTube a video for the song “Turkmenistan”, which he recorded together with the Honored Artist of the country Kuvvat Charyguliyev. Words and music from the new song, which glorifies the achievements of Turkmenistan, belong to the poet Arslan Kertikov, and the arrangement is made by Atash Jumayev.
3. May 2023 promises to be rich in cultural events in Turkmenistan. Next month, the country plans to hold international conferences, creative meetings, media forums and other various events on the occasion of Victory Day, Constitution and State Flag Day, Ashgabat City Day, Last Bell Holiday, Turkmen carpet, as well as the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi and much more.
4. A meeting with representatives of the tourism sector of Turkmenistan was organized at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Ashgabat. It was held within the framework of the promotion and popularization of the tourism potential of the Kyrgyz Republic. The participants were introduced to the presentation on the cultural and historical sights of Kyrgyzstan, tourist routes and the potential of the regions.
5. Ashgabat summed up the results of the third Open Mathematical Olympiad with the participation of students from Turkmen and foreign universities. The mathematical review was held within the walls of the International University for the Humanities and Development. More than 280 contestants from 9 countries took part in the intellectual battles. Turkmen students won the first place. In their piggy bank a total of 138 medals. In second place were representatives of the Russian Federation. The top three were closed by students from Hungary.
6. The National Program for Ensuring the Healthy Welfare of the Population in Turkmenistan for 2023-2028 and the Action Plan for its implementation were approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who signed the relevant Resolution at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. The relevant ministries, departments, hyakimliks of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat were ordered to ensure the implementation of the National Program.

7. Scientists at the University of California at San Diego, in search of a way to combat the natural aging of a person, have found a way to reset the biological clock. During experiments with yeast cells, they managed to increase their lifespan by 82%. According to geneticists, such an experiment can be carried out in relation to human cells - stem cells and neurons. This does not guarantee immortality, but it can significantly extend the period of human life.
8. The 45th Moscow International Film Festival ended with a solemn ceremony. The large-scale cultural event was attended by representatives of 64 countries. During the week that the festival lasted, 202 films were shown. Within the framework of the closing ceremony, the names of the winners were announced. The main prize and the statuette “Golden Saint George” were given to the film “Three Brothers” by the Chilean director Francisco Paparella.

9. “Altyn asyr” on the home field won a confident victory over “Merv” in the 4th round of the championship of Turkmenistan. As part of the team from Ashgabat, Vahit Orazsahadov and Murad Annayev scored doubles. The only goal “Merv” scored at the beginning of the match, Musa Nurnazarov became its author.
10. “Ahal” lost to “Kopetdag” at home in the match of the 4th round of the championship of Turkmenistan. Ashgabat team defeated the reigning champion of the country with a score of 2:1. For “Ahal” this loss was the third in the tournament. “Kopetdag” with 9 points came out on top of the standings of the championship of Turkmenistan on football.
