1. On April 7, Ashgabat will host a mass bike ride. On this occasion, traffic on some streets will be blocked in the first half of the day. According to the Road Supervision Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the bike ride will start from the east of the “Bicycle” monument at the intersection of Bekreve street and Chandybil avenue, and will go north from the roundabout at the intersection of Chandybil and Bitarap Turkmenistan avenues, in the direction of Bitarap Turkmenistan avenue to Galkynysh street.
2. Rais Rustam Minnikhanov invited the delegation of Turkmenistan to visit Tatarstan and take part in the forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum”. On Wednesday, he made a working visit to Ashgabat, during which he met with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. According to the head of the Republic of Tatarstan, during the meeting with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, he reported on the progress of joint projects implemented by Tatarstan oilmen and machine-building enterprises, spoke about work in the humanitarian sphere, especially in educational programs. He also noted that Tatarstan and Turkmenistan will look for new areas of cooperation - in the gas chemical complex and in the field of information technology.
3. Within the framework of the “The Caspian Sea – Sea of Friendship” motocross, Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin visited Orthodox churches in Turkmenistan. In Turkmenbashi, Babushkin visited the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, and in Ashgabat, the Church of the Holy Right-Believing Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky in Ashgabat. On the eve of the Astrakhan Governor held a meeting with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. 4. A section called Ene dilim has been launched on the social network page of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Kazan. Thus, the consulate plans to contribute to the common cause of the preservation and development of the Turkmen language. In this section, it is planned to consider various Turkmen words from the point of view of their historical origin, correct spelling and use in speech.

5. The authorities of Kazakhstan have allocated about 3,8 billion tenge for the fight against locusts. The Ministry of Agriculture of the republic reported that a stock of pesticides had been formed to combat one of the most dangerous agricultural pests, and a plan had been developed to monitor the situation and chemically treat the fields. If necessary, ground transport and aviation will be sent to combat the locust invasion. It is predicted that this year the locust could spread to an area of 1,6 million hectares.
6. Hong Kong lifted the last covid restrictions from April 1. Entry no longer requires PCR or rapid tests.
