The national team of Turkmenistan in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling will take part in the 2023 Asian Wrestling Championship in Astana (Kazakhstan).
Astana will host the tournament from 7 to 14 April. The competition program includes drawing medals in 10 weight categories in Greco-Roman, freestyle and women's wrestling.
Athletes from more than 20 countries will take part in the Asian Wrestling Championship in Kazakhstan.
Initially, the tournament was planned to be held in India. However, India refused to hold the championship of the continent.
At present, the national team of Turkmenistan is undergoing the last stage of training within the training camp in Baku (Azerbaijan), which will last until April 6.
