Belarus and Iran are planning to open direct flights between Minsk and Tehran in the near future, Belarusian Ambassador Dmitry Koltsov told the BelTA news agency.
There is no release date or any details yet.
At the end of February, it was reported that Iranian airline Mahan Air should launch flights between Tehran and Minsk in the spring-summer schedule.
Previously, Belavia operated regular flights on the Minsk-Tehran route since 2010. They were suspended in 2018.
