Tennis players of Turkmenistan will perform at the international tournament for children under 12 and younger in Israel, the electronic newspaper "Golden Age" reports.
Tournament International Team U12 & Individual Event will be held from 5 to 12 March in Haifa.
The Turkmen team included Suleiman Hudayberdiyev, Emirhan Rustamov, Muhammetsapa Serdarov, Nazargeldi Amangeldiyev, Anna Ponyatova, Sulgun Ishanguliyeva, Aylara Kakabayeva and Nyazli Khudaygulyyeva. They were among the leaders in the national qualifying tournament held on February 13-14.
Earlier, in February, at the tournament under the auspices of the ITF in Colombo (Sri Lanka), Turkmen tennis players won 9 bronze medals.
