President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov dismissed Charymurat Purchekov, who oversees Construction, Industry and Energy issues, from the post of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers “in connection with the transfer to another job”. The relevant Decree was signed by the head of state today during an extended meeting of the Government, announced the “Watan” news program of the Turkmen television.

Charymurat Purchekov was appointed Deputy Prime Minister for Construction, Industry and Energy in July 2021. Then he replaced Shamuhammet Durdylyev at this post, who was transferred to the Directorate of Construction Enterprises of “Ashgabat City”, and later appointed the hyakim (mayor) of the city of Arkadag, the new administrative center of Ahal velayat.
