The national team of Turkmenistan beat the team of Kyrgyzstan with a score of 5:4 in the second round match of the group stage of the international hockey tournament among Islamic countries Kazan Hockey Cup. The meeting was held today at the Sports Palace in Kazan.
The teams last met in February 2017. In the match of the 2017 Asian Winter Games in Sapporo, the national team of Turkmenistan defeated Kyrgyzstan with a score of 7:3.
Let us remind that the competitions in the capital of Tatarstan brought together over 300 athletes and functionaries from 13 states.
In the first match of the hockey tournament of Islamic countries, the national team of Turkmenistan lost to the team of Tatarstan with a score of 2:7.
The tournament among 12 men's and 5 women's teams will last until January 17 at two arenas: at the Sports Palace and the “Tatneft Arena” in Kazan.
On January 16, the national team of Turkmenistan will play against the team of Kazakhstan.
