The desperate parents of a young gamer in China decided to distract their son from a computer game in a very peculiar way – they hired a professional player to beat him and finally forced him to get up from the computer and study, “Komsomolskaya Pravda” reports.
In accordance with the parents, their son was an excellent student until the 4th grade, but, being carried away by computer games, he abandoned his studies and spent a day at the computer playing online video games. The parents' attempts to reason with their offspring were unsuccessful, and they decided to hire an adult professional gamer so that he, regularly beating their son, forced him to leave the games and return to school.
This method occurred to be effective, constantly losing to a more experienced and adult player, the boy doubted his own abilities and gradually lost interest in videogames; literally ten losses were enough.
Interestingly that as per the words of the professional gamer, this case in not the first in his practice, he has already been invited twice to help the parents of children who are overly enthusiastic about video games.
