Up to 23,4 square meters, it is planned to increase the size of living space per inhabitant in Turkmenistan. Chairman of the Halk Maslakaty Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated this at a meeting of this chamber of parliament on Wednesday, reports the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper today.

“Providing housing for the native people is one of the main tasks. In accordance with the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028”, in 2023 it is planned to create 2687 new jobs, build 14,44 thousand square meters of housing at the expense of public funds and 436,38 at the expense of the private sector thousand

square meters of housing. As a result, it is planned to increase the living area of each person to 23,4 square meters”, - Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.

In this regard, in accordance with the above-mentioned Program, in 2023 it is planned to make capital investments in the amount of 1 billion 354,59 million manats, which is significantly higher than in 2022
