Law “On the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2023” was adopted today by the deputies of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of the sixth convocation on the regular meeting held today, reports the information program “Watan” of the Turkmen television.
A preliminary discussion of the documents submitted for consideration by the deputies took place in all committees of the Mejlis, as well as at the ministries and departments of the country, the hyakimliks of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat.
In accordance with the recommendations of the Head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov regarding the State Budget for 2023 prescribes that the main part of monetary fund will be sent for development of social sphere, particularly, education, healthcare, culture, system of state social security, housing and communal services, public services of a general nature.
In the coming year, it is planned to allocate certain amounts of capital investments for the construction of housing and industrial and socio-cultural facilities.
The protected items of expenditure of the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2023 are salaries, pensions, allowances, scholarships for students and trainees, which will be increased according to the Decree of the President of the country.
During the meeting, the indicators of local budgets provided for in the draft of the main financial and legal document for the coming year were considered.
As reported, measures are planned for 2023 to support entrepreneurship, small and medium-sized businesses, to increase the volume of domestic production, to ensure food abundance in domestic markets.
At the same time, work will continue to increase the share of the private sector in the structure of the country's economy.
