Russians and foreign citizens will be able to enter Russia without PCR tests, regardless the vaccine status. The corresponding resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia “On provision of isolation regime in order to prevent COVID-209 spread” is published on the official internet-portal of legal information.

The document enters into force from October 21, 2022.

Before arriving in Russia, foreign citizens and stateless persons will only have to fill out a questionnaire for arriving in the territory of the Russian Federation. A sample questionnaire will be posted on the official website of Rospotrebnadzor.

Random testing of Russians and foreign citizens upon arrival will be preserved. Rospotrebnadzor has extended the practice of conducting random testing not only to airports, but also to all checkpoints of the state border.

The decision was made in connection with the stabilization of the epidemiological situation.

Russia and Turkmenistan are connected by direct flights of two airlines. “Turkmenistan” Airlines executes regular flights Ashgabat to Moscow and Kazan twice a week. From October 17, the Russian carrier S7 Airlines has resumed regular flights on the route Moscow – Turkmenbashi – Moscow.
