Today in Ashgabat the international exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2022” has started in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. In the afternoon here will be held a Plenary Meeting of the International Conference. This was reported by the electronic edition of the “Turkmenistan” newspaper.
This large oil and gas forum, which is being conducted for the 27th time, is organized by the State Concerns “Türkmengaz”, “Türkmennebit”, “Türkmengeologiýa” Corporation with the support of the British company “Gaffney Cline” and in partnership with the Economic Society “Turkmen Forum”.
More than 100 foreign delegates representing more than 200 companies from 45 countries of the world take part in such large-scale event.
More than 50 energy companies participate in the oil and gas exhibition, among them such companies as SOCAR, CNPC, Gaffney Cline, Schlumberger, Dragon Oil, Mitro International, Areti International Group, Buried Hill, ENI Turkmenistan Limited, Yug-Neftegaz Private Limited, Haldor Topsoe, Chalık Energy, Mitsubishi Corporation, Siemens Energy LLC, Sumitomo Corporation Europe Ltd.
Modern services and innovative technologies in the oil and gas sector are widely presented at the exhibition stands.
About 40 journalists from more than 30 leading media have registered for the forum to cover the international conference and exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2022” in the international information space.
In addition to the issues of sustainable development in the energy sector and attracting direct investment in the oil and gas industry, the conference participants will also discuss global issues related to climate change.
