The women's team of Turkmenistan has retained the 137th place in the ranking of the International Football Federation (FIFA), an updated version of which is published on the website of the organization.
The US team retained the first line of the ranking. The order of the American women's closest pursuers has changed: the Swedish team has moved up to the second position from the third, and the German national team, respectively, has dropped down one line.
In Central Asia, Kazakhstan suffered the biggest fall, dropping 11 positions to 100th, while Uzbekistan ranked 47th ahead of Kyrgyzstan (125th), Turkmenistan (137th) and Tajikistan (144th).
Since the publication of the previous ranking in August, two new teams have been added: Syria (157th) and Pakistan (160th). This brings the total number of FIFA member associations currently included in the women's rankings to 187. In total, FIFA has 211 member associations.
Let us remind that in August 2022, the women's football team of Turkmenistan entered the FIFA rating for the first time.
