The weightlifting team of Turkmenistan at the Asian Championships is represented by twelve athletes.
Previously, the World Weightlifting Championship was held in April 2021 in Uzbekistan. Then the first place in the unofficial medal standings was taken by the Chinese team (10 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medals).
