Afghanistan has signed an agreement with Turkmenistan for the supply of liquefied petroleum gas, reports Khaama Press.
According to the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Afghanistan, several thousand tons of bottled gas will be brought into the country through the dry ports of Hairatan, Akina and Turgundi.
It is noted that the relevant agreement was reached during the meeting of representatives of the Turkmen side with the leaders of the Afghan oil and gas corporation.
Thanks to the import of Turkmen energy carriers, the price of liquefied gas in the domestic markets of Afghanistan will fall significantly, according to the “Bakhtar” State News Agency.
