In the first half of 2022, Turkmenistan sent 4.51 billion US dollars’ worth of natural gas to the People’s Republic of China (an increase of 1.5 times), still remaining the leader among other countries in sales of pipeline gas to this country. This is reported by the publication NebitGaz with reference to TASS.

Russia takes the second place in sales of pipeline gas to China, followed by Myanmar (a decrease of 12%, to 616 million US dollars), Kazakhstan (a decrease of 8.8%, to 531 million US dollars) and Uzbekistan (an increase of about 2.2 times, to 404 million US dollars).
