The 2022 Central Asian Football Association Championship among women's national teams has ended in Dushanbe.
The championship was held from July 8 to July 20. The women's national teams of Iran, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan took part in it.
The winners were girls from Uzbekistan. In the fifth-round match Uzbekistan beat the Iranian team with a score of 1:0. The women's national team of Uzbekistan scored 12 points, winning all the matches of the tournament, while not conceding a single goal.
The bronze medals of the CAFA-2022 championship were awarded to athletes from Kyrgyzstan, beating the Tajik team 1 - 0 in the final match. The Kyrgyz national team has 4 points in five matches played.
Athletes from Turkmenistan took the fourth place in their debut international tournament (2 points scored).
The host of the championship — the national team of Tajikistan could not win a single game and eventually took the last place.
