The conference “International transport and transit corridors: interconnectedness and development” started today in Ashgabat.
More than 400 delegates participate in the forum, of which more than 170 are representatives of foreign companies and 90 are local ones.
The conference was organized by the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the Turkmen Forum company. The event was supported by leading Turkmen transport sponsoring companies such as “Turkmen ak yol”, “Ynamly yol hyzmaty”, “Altyn dour”, THADA, UlagExh, Mermer “Kenar”, At Abray.
Let us remind that the main topics for discussion on the forum are as follows:
- post-pandemic recovery of the transport and logistics sector: new challenges and opportunities;
- digitalization of the transport and communication complex: a look into the future;
- environmental aspects of sustainable transport;
- the role of public-private partnership in the development of green infrastructure;
- the role of science and education in the development of the transport and communication complex.
On the sidelines of the conference, participants have the opportunity of personal negotiations with representatives of the Government of Turkmenistan.
The conference will run until July 20.
