Today the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov conducted a meeting with the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates Suhail Al Mazrui.
During the talks, the parties noted the existence of favorable opportunities for expanding partnerships in the field of energy, industry, and high technologies. The Ministers also discussed the prospects for cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE in the field of rational use of renewable energy sources, ensuring energy security.
The importance of the “green economy” and the promotion of innovative technologies were considered.
In conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that the meetings held on a regular basis between Turkmenistan and the UAE will contribute to the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas, the website of the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
