The State Museum of Fine Arts will open a temporary exhibition “I love sushi”, organized by the Embassy of Japan in Ashgabat with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan on July 8.
Visitors of the exposition will get acquainted with the world of washoku - traditional Japanese cuisine. Washoku was inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2013. The Japanese themselves treat their national cuisine with great respect and reverence, carefully preserving traditions and recipes, since for the people this is, first of all, a life philosophy that they adhere to from childhood.
The Japan Foundation provides all exhibits of the exhibition.
