Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan D. Bayryev and a representative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Belgium participated in the 139th and 140th sessions of the Customs Cooperation
Council of the World Customs Organization (WCO). This was reported on the website of the Turkmen customs service.
The meetings were held at the WCO headquarters in Brussels. Delegations at the level of heads of customs services of the Member States of the Organization participated in it.
During the meetings, topical issues of customs administration, development and application of customs legislation, standards and technologies, development of international cooperation were considered.
On the last day of the Council meetings, elections were held for the positions of Deputy Secretary General and Chairman of the Customs Cooperation Council for the previous year, notes the source.
