On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Germany and the countries of Central Asia, including Turkmenistan, an exhibition entitled “Horizonte” was opened in the Lichthof Gallery in the building of the German Foreign Ministry in Berlin.
All five countries of the Central Asian region placed their stands at the exhibition: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
“Horizonte” is addressed to the younger generation and is designed to expand the horizons of knowledge about the region, its countries and their potential.
Turkmenistan is represented by stands about the history of development and the current status of Turkmen-German relations: cooperation in the field of education, the study of the German language in the country and cultural interaction.
Representatives of the German Foreign Ministry, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Germany, representatives of the diplomatic club Willkommen in Berlin at the German Foreign Ministry, political and economic circles, social and scientific organizations and German companies participated the official opening ceremony of the event, which was held on June 1.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until August 5, during which each Central Asian country will hold its own information event on a certain day.
