On behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations to Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said and all the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations establishment between the countries, the Information Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television has reported today.
"Relations between our states are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust," Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, stressing that Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral ties.
The head of state also expressed confidence that thanks to joint efforts, cooperation between the countries will continue developing in the interests of both peoples.
Taking advantage of this pleasant opportunity, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed sincere wishes for good health, happiness and prosperity to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, and progress and prosperity to the people of the Sultanate of Oman.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Oman were established on May 29, 1992.
