Racers from Turkmenistan, Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will participate in the “Silk Way Rally”, which will pass entirely through the territory of the Russian Federation, reported TASS with the reference to the project manager Vladimir Chagin.
The rally-raid will be held from 6 to 16 July. This year the race starts in Astrakhan and ends in Moscow. The 4380-kilometer route will be dedicated to the 35-th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Peter I. It is noted that the rally will pass through the territory of the North Caucasus for the first time.
Let us remind you that Turkmenistan hosted a major rally “Amul-Khazar” in 2018. The 83 crews from 21 countries participated in the race. The duration of the distance was more than a thousand kilometers. The Spaniard Nani Roma won the victory in the overall standings.
