The holiday season in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone will open this year on May 15. The Government declared about this at today’s meeting, announced the news program “Watan” of the Turkmen television.
On the eve of the summer school holidays and the vacation season of workers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered that hotels, health and recreation centers in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone, other sanatoriums, summer recreation places for children in Ashgabat and in all velayats be brought into proper condition.
The head of state at the same time, stressed that, of course, the arrival in Avaza and other health resorts should be organized in accordance with the recommendations of the Emergency Commission of Turkmenistan to Combat the Spread of Diseases.
Let us remind you that restrictions on the rest of citizens in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone and swimming in the Caspian Sea were introduced in May 2020 due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation in the region and the world. However after a yearlong break in Turkmenistan, the opportunity to relax on the coast of the Caspian Sea again appeared. The summer holiday season in 2021 in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone was determined from June 1 to September 15, with strict observance of sanitary standards.
