KAMAZ Director General Sergey Kogogin visited Turkmenistan as part of a delegation led by Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the company's official website says.
During the current visit, the issues of supplying high-tech KAMAZ vehicles for the needs of the country were discussed. The Head of the Auto Giant also spoke of the achieved results of cooperation and the supply of vehicles in accordance with the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan.
Sergey Kogogin noted that the construction of new Service Centers is under completion in all regions to be launched in June and before the end of the year.
“The previously concluded three-year contract for the supply of vehicles has been fully completed. We fulfill all warranty obligations and provide service support. Our intentions are to continue working, create new jobs in Turkmenistan, and meet the needs of the national economy in technology. We see the scale of the construction in Turkmenistan today. Not a single facility can be built without trucks. Therefore, we are ready to provide the country with modern trucks, we are always together with Turkmenistan,” the Head of the Auto Giant noted.
Also, during the visit, the prospects for further expansion of cooperation between Turkmenistan and other industrial companies of the Republic of Tatarstan were discussed.
“Last year, our trade turnover amounted to $77.5 million. There is considerable potential to increase these indicators, in particular, in such areas as oil exploration, oil production, gas transportation, automobile, aircraft and shipbuilding, and the supply of chemical products,” Rustam Minnikhanov noted.
