Today, the opening ceremony of a new plant for the production of carbon black was held in the Mary District of the Mary Region of Turkmenistan. The facility with an area of 9.9 hectares was built by specialists of the Individual Enterprise Eziz dag. This is reported in the electronic version of the newspaper "Turkmenistan".
The capacity of the new production allows producing 3,000 tons of carbon black per year. The complex includes an administrative building, a production workshop and a laboratory.
With the commissioning of the plant, which has modern equipment from the leading manufacturers in the USA and Germany, about a hundred new jobs appeared.
Carbon black is added to almost all polymers to increase their resistance to atmospheric influences, including to protect against exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
Along with this, it is used in the metallurgical, electrotechnical, printing, paint and varnish, light industry, finds its application in copying and multiplying equipment, in the production of special grades of paper, the production of electric coal products, as well as galvanic cells that are a power source for various electronic devices, appliances and digital technology. Carbon black is also used in the construction industry as a component of concrete, cement, asphalt concrete and organic-mineral mixtures, etc.
