Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) will continue developing in the area of innovative technologies, training of highly qualified personnel and the oil and gas industry.
This was stated by CNPC Vice President Huang Yongzhang during his participation in the International Oil and Gas Conference in Ashgabat.
"We will strengthen cooperation on mutually beneficial terms and share the opportunities of the Chinese market with Turkmenistan," Huang Yongzhang said, expressing hope for further expansion of partnership relations.
During the Forum, the Chinese party noted that big changes are expected in the global energy sector. The share of natural gas consumption continues growing, and at the same time, clean energy sources are actively developing.
China will strive to reach the peak of emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere by 2030 and consider energy conservation as the main source of energy.
