The International Conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan" started its work in the capital of Turkmenistan.
The purpose of the representative Forum is to attract foreign investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan, review the latest trends in the global energy system, as well as establish a modern platform for strengthening dialogue to promote international cooperation and further sustainable development of the energy sector.
The Conference was organized by the State Concerns "Turkmennebit", "Turkmengaz", "Turkmenhimiya" and the State Corporation "Turkmengeologiya" in partnership with the Turkmen Forum and the British company “GaffneyCline".
The event brought together the representatives of the international companies, including such energy giants as CNPC, SOCAR, Dragon Oil, TAPI, Mitro International, Haldor Topsoe, NAPECO and Yug-Neftegaz, the heads of energy organizations and delegates of the major international financial institutions.
The topic of the Plenary Session is "The Future of the Global Energy System", the Acting State Minister, Chairman of the State Concern Turkmengaz Batyr Amanov will make a keynote speech there.
The International Oil and Gas Forum will close its work on March 30.
