During the meeting held today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved Mukhammetguly Mukhammedov as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic, Banking and International Financial Organizations, the Information Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television reports.
Wishing success to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Head of State signed a corresponding Decree on his appointment.
Mukhammetguly Mukhammedov studied at the capital's State Boarding School for particularly gifted children from 1994 to 1998. In 2003, he graduated with honors from Gazi University (Ankara, Turkey), with a degree in economics and management.
He speaks English, Russian and Turkish.
He started his career in 2003 as a Human Resources Specialist. Then he worked in various positions in the structural divisions and departments of the State Concern "Turkmennebitgazgurlushyk". Then he worked as a Leading Specialist, Head of the Economic Analysis and Social Issues Sector of the Economic Development Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

On July 7, 2017, he was relieved of his post "due to the move to another job."
