The South African national hockey team won the World Championship in the third division in Group B, the matches of which ended in Cape Town. The tournament was held from March 13 to March 18, 2022.
The South African hockey players won three victories in four matches, got 10 points and become winners of В group in the third division. Thailand team with 8 points become the second. The last place was taken by the team oа Bosnia and Herzegovina (0 points). The Hong Kong hockey team did not attend the tournament.
The South African team won the right to play in the next season in A group of the third division of the World Cup.
It is also should be noted that the South African team become the most resultative team on the tournament having delivered 24 hoсkey pucks in the net of competitors.
