The main topic of the agenda of the conjoint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministries and the State National Council held today with the participation of hakims of the velayats and Ashgabat city become the issues of preparation for the elections of the President of Turkmenistan, the information program “Vatan” of the Turkmen television reports.
Having listened the reports of the participants of the meeting via digital communicationыs the head of state defined specific tasks, set before them regarding the organization of important social and political company on the 12th of March.
In particular, the President demanded to ensure the proper work of the polling stations, organized at the Embassies of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, also processing of the bulletins and data forwarding to the Central Election Commission in a timely manner.
Separate instructions were given on strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements, the organization of medical points at all polling stations for this purpose.
The relevant heads, including ministries and departments, are instructed to ensure strict compliance with the rules of public order and fire safety at polling stations. To carry out organizational and technical measures to ensure the safe operation of electrical appliances and equipment. To keep under control the uninterrupted power and water supply of polling stations, as well as the population.
The Head of State instructed to ensure the free movement of various vehicles in Ashgabat and velayats on election day, to establish the smooth functioning of the communication system at all established polling stations. Also, to ensure the smooth operation of the digital communication system, to provide international observers with various vehicles, to assist the Central Election Commission and polling stations in establishing online communication.
The Turkmen leader instructed to organize mobile retail points, selling local goods, proposing the voters and the international observers the harvest of the Turkmen land and other goods on the election day near the polling stations.
Berdimuhamedov emphasized on wide usage of mass media, including internet websites, for informing about the preparation of elections and calling the population to actively participate in them, also covering of election process on tele radio channels and in the other mass media resources.
Hakim of the velayats and of Ashgabat city are charged to cooperate to active participation of the population in the upcoming presidential election on the 12th of March, to render any necessary assistance to the members of the election commission, to control procurement of the markets and shops with different products.
