“From March 5, 2022, Rosselkhoznadzor allows supply of vegetable products from the entire territory and without taking into account restrictions on producing enterprises,” the establishment says in a statement.
It permits supply of tomatoes from Armenia and Azerbaijan, and tomatoes and peppers from Turkmenistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
Tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and eggplants will be shipped from Turkey to Russia, and potatoes from Egypt.
The decision was based on the analysis of information provided by the quarantine and plant protection organizations of the above countries.
