A festive event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Iran took place at the Cultural Center of Iran in Ashgabat today.
Iranian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Gholam Abbas Arbab Khales congratulated the audience on this significant date. He stressed the importance of Iran's ties with Turkmenistan and wished the citizens of the friendly state well, peace and family prosperity.
The audience was also addressed by the Head of the Cultural Center Navid Rasuli, who summed up the results of the Contest of Articles on the topic "Iranian Studies". The organizers noted that it was quite difficult to identify the winner – more than 70 participants from all over Turkmenistan sent their works.
Official solemn congratulations were alternated with sincere words, supported by beautiful musical performances. The bright and interesting concert program created a unique aura of friendship, peacefulness and high spirituality in the hall.
It should be noted that the Cultural Center of Iran in Ashgabat is a kind of link between the two countries. Exhibitions, film screenings and other events are regularly held here, revealing rich culture and identity of the ancient people of Iran. A week ago, a holiday of friendship between Iran and Turkmenistan was held here.
